Likely on its way out soon, the LG-built Nexus 5X is once again the subject of tempting deals that chopped off up to $140 from the original sticker price. The Stock Android phone in 32GB variant is further down to $259.99 from its already ultra-affordable tag of $400, somehow dropping another clue of an impending Google Nexus 2016 release date.

The go-to site for compelling gadget discounts Daily Steal now sells the LG Nexus 5X for only $269.99 but according to Droid Life, online shoppers that will use the coupon code NexiusEmail10 will get another $10 cut that will amount to one of the lowest price mark for the 32GB Nexus 5X. The package that is ready to ship for free, however, is only for the black 5X but everything about the Nexus remains the same.

It is the same affordable handset that boasts of near-flagship specs. The 5.2-inch screen renders in 1080p and under the hood, the power is supplied by the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip that is supported by 2GB of RAM. The GPU muscle is Adreno 418.

On the shooting department, the Nexus 5X is equipped with a 12.4MP main camera while the secondary is set at 5MP.

All told, the Nexus 5X is a winner of a device that gets even more exciting with the latest build of Android Marshmallow running the show. And it is a fact that as a Pure Android kit, this Nexus will readily with a fresh Android version once it becomes available. In this year's case, it will be Android N or Nutella as recent reports have suggested.

However, for many Android fans the LG Nexus 5X hitting the sale zone again indicates that its sequel is unboxing real soon. And as the recent leaked specifications have suggested, it will be quite a leap. The main engine is said to be a Snapdragon 820 that is tapped to 4GB of RAM. The details provided so far paint the next Nexus, codenamed Sailfish, as a more powerful replacement to that of the Nexus 5X.

Add to that is the strong likelihood of a more solid and premium build as the rumored assembler is HTC, which is known for its metallic Android flagships.

And speculations are widespread that the Nexus 2016 release date will happen in no time, likely as early as August or around the same time that Google is set to deploy Android version 7.0 or Nutella.
