Featuring an identical look like its Windows variant, the ThinkPad 13 Chromebook shares two similar USB-C and two USB 3.0 ports like its counterpart. Users can enjoy the same original ThinkPad keyboard sold with the device.

The specialty about the USB-C port is that it can be used for charging the ThinkPad 13 Chromebook's battery to ensure 10 hours of power at a stretch. Apart from this, the Chromebook comes with an SD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

According to military-specification testing results, the Chromebook design complies with specific quality, durability and ruggedness standards. Buyers can now order any of the Chromebook variants on Lenovo's website.

The Chromebook, which is currently priced at $386.10, features 4GB of RAM, an Intel Celeron processor and 16GB of native storage space. It has a 13.3-inches display screen with 1,366 x 768pixels resolution. Buyers can get an i3 chipset through online that is priced at $130.

Upgrading the device to an i5 processor for $350, will help buyers get 8GB of memory along with 32GB of storage. Paying an extra $50 will help buyers get a 1,920 x 1,080 IPS display panel. It will, however, take five to seven days to ship the 1080p display panels to customers. Currently, Lenovo is working on a 1080p touchscreen version, which will be sold in the future, 9to5google reported.

Meanwhile, there were reports that Lenovo made headlines when it started to sell Chromebooks two years ago. The new ThinkPad Chromebook made its debut this year that runs on Windows 10 and Chrome OS. Users will have to make their choice from the both.

As far as internal features are concerned, Lenovo has used the same internals for Windows 10 and Chrome OS models, except for the ports and keyboard. As for the Chrome OS variant, it features two USB ports, along with two Type-C. On the other hand, the Windows 10 model has an HDMI port on it, according to The Verge.
