With only three weeks left until the premiere of the much-awaited MBC's fantasy drama "W," more still cuts of the lead stars, Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo, were released. In the drama, the on-screen couple live in the same place and the same time, but were isolated by different dimensions.

The released photographs gave fans a first look at Lee and Han's respective character in the series. The released photos show the unique love story of a young chaebol, Kang Chul (Lee), who exist in the webtoon universe of "W" and Oh Yeon Joo (Han), who is a surgeon in the real world.

"There are certain hidden rules for the way how Kang Cheol and Oh Yeon-Joo, who live in completely different worlds connect to each other," "W's" production team told Sports Seoul. "It will be interesting to focus on how the incredible imagination to create the character in a webtoon as the main lead and how smartly the idea is implemented in the story through the special hidden rules."

While the production team already revealed that Kang Cheol is an anecdotal character in a webtoon universe, it was reported previously that the connection between the two characters heavily relies on Han's father in the drama, Oh Seong Moon (Kim Ee-Seong), who is a well-known comic book creator. Sudden twists and turns are set to happen when Oh Yeon Joo was kidnapped by Kang Cheol, who is bathed in blood, and was taken to the webtoon universe.

Other than the aforementioned characters, Jeong Eu-Gene, Lee Si-Un, Lee Tae-Hwan, Kang Ki-Young, Cha Kwang-Soo, Park Won-Sang, Heo Jung-Do, Lee Se-Rang and Nam Gi-Are have also been given respective pivotal roles in the series. The 16-episode drama will benefit from that creativity of screenwriter Song Jae Jung, along with PD Jung Dae Yoon helming the project.

"Lee Jong Suk is devoting all of his energy into his acting, so much so that you can only think of Kang Chul when you see him," a representative from the drama's production company told Korea's Naver TV, while complimenting the actor's diligent work.
