Liv Tyler welcomed her newborn son, whose name has not been revealed, in Manhattan on Feb. 11. "The Lord of the Rings" star is already a mom to a 10-year-old whom she shares with her ex-husband Royston Langdon.
Tyler's boyfriend David Gardner shared the first photo of their baby boy's son on Feb. 14. Although she delivered the baby six weeks early, a spokesperson told People that the child is healthy and that everyone is happy in his arrival. However, he will need to stay for some time in the hospital.
Tyler's father Steven and half sister Mia visited at the hospital on Feb. 13. The father expressed his excitement as a grandfather on Facebook saying: "When I got the call that Liv Tyler was going into labor, after crying like a baby myself, I immediately dropped everything and went to the airport to get on the next available flight."
The Aerosmith frontman said that he kept calling his daughter Mia who was already assisting Tyler and she kept giving him a blow-by-blow account of what is happening in the hospital. He said that he made it on time the moment his grandson arrived in the world.
Mia added, "There is nothing more special than helping to bring a life into this world with the most important people in your life. So proud to be a part of it. And so very excited to have a new pup in our wolf pack. So much love in this pic."
Meanwhile, Tyler is thrilled about the second season of HBO's "The Leftovers" as she reprises her role as Megan Abbott.
