HBO's super hit fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones" wrapped up its sixth season last week with an awe inspiring finale. It is certain that the viewers will remember Season 6 of the show for long, but it has also left them wanting for more. However, fans can engage themselves with something very special till the seventh season returns according to a LifeHacker report. The team at Quarter Maester has come up with an interactive map of the continent of Westeros that will take show's fans on a visual journey of the different islands and constituencies that have featured in the show. Be it the Sand Snakes dominated Dorne or the liberated Meereen, users of the interactive map can hop on from one place to another in a jiffy and relate to the events that took place at that location.

This detailed and interesting map is a boon for those readers as well as viewers who want to get acquainted with the geography of the fictional world in which George R.R. Martin's novel and the show are based. According to Polygon, the map has been built through Google Maps API and people can zoom in and out to focus on the size and other details of the particular territory.

When someone zooms in and clicks on a specific city or place, they will be directed to its corresponding Wikipedia page. This feature lets people explore the cities in a more detailed manner and get a complete understanding of the place.

The makers of the interactive map have taken adequate care to keep it spoiler free. The map carries notes on the cities that will be explored in detail in the later seasons or that have not been explored yet.

This map also lets fans search for the different houses and islands. When someone clicks on the flags of the houses, they will be directed to "Game of Thrones" Wiki of that particular house. In short, this is a complete geographical treat and a must-experience for fans.
