Avid fans of "The Walking Dead" have been eagerly awaiting for the Season 7 return of the AMC series. Cast member Ross Marquand recently teased that viewers should be ready to see a crazy premiere episode and a bigger world.

Marquand, who plays Alexandrian recruiter Aaron in the AMC series, has dropped a few hints about the zombie apocalyptic show's new season. The actor visited Entertainment Weekly's radio program at SiriusXM on Thursday, July 7, where he shared that he has been inundated with requests for spoiler news on a daily basis.

The Season 6 finale episode ended with a cliffhanger where the identity of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) victim among Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his gang, including Marquand's Aaron, remained a mystery. The said scene received mixed responses from fans where many became angry and frustrated with the long wait. However, Marquand commented that he was proud of how the said scene ended.

He also teased that viewers should already start preparing for the upcoming Season 7 premiere. Marquand mentioned that it will feature elements that fans have been looking for. He hinted that it will contain some brutal scenes and even described the upcoming episode as "insane." However, when asked if his character will become Negan's victim, the actor claimed that he has on idea on the said scene.

The upcoming Season 7 of the AMC series will also feature an expanded world, according to Marquand. The new season will focus on the many communities that exist in "The Walking Dead" universe, such as the Saviors, the people from the Hilltop, as well as the Wolves. He also hinted of potentially violent encounters between the communities.

In other news, four cast members have recently been promoted to series regulars, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The said four stars include "The Good Wife" alum Morgan and Tom Payne who portrays the character, Jesus. Austin Amelio and Xander Berkeley have also become full-time cast members, as Dwight and Hilltop colony leader Gregory, respectively.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will premiere in October on AMC.
