A week after the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale, Maisie Williams, 19, was spotted attending fashion and sports events. On July 9, Saturday, the teen actress turned heads as she arrived with blue hair at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, in which Serena Williams won her seventh Wimbledon title.
The "Game of Thrones" actress joined celebrities, such as Peter Kay and including David Attenborough, in the Royal box at the west London venue. Her blue hair is a far cry from Williams' brown bob as Arya Stark in the hit HBO series.
On July 6, Wednesday, Williams and her "A Storm in the Stars" co-star Douglas Booth were spotted at the Tommy Hilfiger Serpentine Summer Party at The Serpentine Gallery on Wednesday in London. The former sported a darker blue hair at the event, which was also attended by Ellie Goulding, Cressida Bonas, Tamsin Egerton, Amelia Windsor, Gabriella Wilde, Maddi Waterhouse, Arizona Muse, Matilda Lowther and Jamie Campbell Bower, Just Jared reported.
Also on July 6, Wednesday, Williams' former "Game of Thrones" co-star Charles Dance watched the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. On July 7, Thursday, spotted watching the sporting action at the tennis club is Sophie Turner, who recently played Jean Grey/Phoenix in "X-Men: Apocalypse."
On the other hand, Williams is rumored to be playing Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane in the upcoming film "X-Men: The New Mutants," which she neither admitted nor denied. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said she cannot say much about the rumors at all, but she would absolutely love to be a part of the film and the Marvel family.
The "Game of Thrones" star said she interested in joining the cast of the "X-Men" spin-off as she has always loved the idea of spin-offs. She described "X-Men: The New Mutants" director Joshua Boone, who directed Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in "The Fault in Our Stars," as "incredibly talented."
One of Williams' upcoming films is "A Storm in the Stars," which is directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour. Aside from Booth, her co-stars are Elle Fanning, Stephen Dillane, Joanne Froggatt, Ben Hardy, Hugh O'Conor, Jack Hickey and Bel Powley, among others.
