Snapchat CEO and co-founder Evan Spiegel, 24, is reportedly planning to buy "Style" singer Taylor Swift's label Big Machine Records, the New York Post reported.
Swift was only 14 when she was discovered by Big Machine Records owner Scott Borchetta. In 2014, Spiegel was rumored to be dating Swift. Recently, the young billionaire is set to bring music videos to Snapchat after signing a deal with Warner.
Both Spiegel and Swift have yet to comment on the issue.
Currently, Swift's newly released single "Style" from her "1989" album is at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
Meanwhile, the Snapchat Version 9.0.0 for iOS has a new layout and new features including Discover, which is located only by swiping away from Stories.
In 2014, one day after Yahoo's announcement of its first quarter earnings, the search partnership of Google with Apple on iOS devices reportedly amounted to $1 billion in annual fees, which is very rewarding for Apple.
Included in the existing partnership between Apple and Yahoo in mobile are Apple's stocks app pulls from Yahoo Finance and the iOS weather app pulls data from Yahoo Weather.
With the Stocks and Weather apps it currently powers, Yahoo has established a quite decent position within iOS. However, Yahoo's CEO Marissa Mayer seemed to have greater ambitions. Yahoo was said to have discussed with Apple to make its search presence on iOS devices greater for at least one year, CNET reported.
Google is the default provider so Yahoo search is apparently just an option at this time.
