The latest details for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature new transformation sequences from two races and Black Goku and Future Trunks added to the roster.
Bandai Namco revealed a new gameplay trailer for "Dragon Ball Super" during the Japan Expo 2016 event as the video features new transformations from two races in the game. Gamers and anime fans saw the new Super Saiyan 3 transformation from the Saiyan race in several game trailers and this time the Majin and Frieza races will have something big for the players to offer.
The Frieza race will have the ability to tap into their potential and transform into their "Golden Form" similar to Frieza's form which debuted "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" anime film. The second race to have a new transformation is the Majin race as they transform in a "Kid Buu" like form and they are faster, stronger and unpredictable similar to the Kid Buu, Saiyan Island reported.
In other news, it seems that Bandai Namco announced two new characters for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" as the pre-order bonuses for the sequel featured Black Goku and Future Trunks from "Dragon Ball Super".
The "Day One" edition featured the new villain, Black/Black Goku from the "Future Trunks" arc as a pre-ordered fighter and the their is also a flying pillar that the created character can use to travel around Conton City.
Future Trunks on the other hand, will be included in the game's "Deluxe Edition" along with a copy of the game, an early access to Future Trunks as a playable character and a season pass, which features future new playable characters, episodes and quests, Masters and Master quests, new stages and character skins, accessories and skills, Gematsu reported.
The "Deluxe Edition" will cost around $89.99, while the "Collector's Edition" of the game will be around $149.99.
Bandai Namco teased that more customization options are available for each of the five races in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and side quests involving different places in the "Dragon Ball" universe such as Frieza's ship, Planet Namek etc.
Previous reports already revealed a new protagonist in the sequel with Super Saiyan 3 transformation along with other playable characters like Future Gohan, Turles, Gogeta,Lord Slug, Janemba, Zarbon, Dodoria and Cooler.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will launch on Oct. 25 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
