Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be launched in August this year and Apple iPhone 7 will be released in September this year.

According to The Verge, the electronics company Samsung will reveal the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on August 2, 2016. The device will be available in colors such as silver titanium, blue coral and black onyx. The upcoming phablet will feature a curved Edge display.

It is believed that the forthcoming Samsung phablet will be the sleekest and most powerful smartphone the company has ever built.

Rumors are doing the rounds that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature the company's special Note software and stylus support.

Some of the other features of the Samsung device include 3,600 mAh battery, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, fingerprint and iris scanners, 12-megapixel rear camera, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, Snapdragon 821 or Exynos 8893 processor and a 5.7-inch 2K screen.

Rumors are also doing the rounds that the Apple iPhone 7 will be launched in September 2016. The new Apple device will have five variants - space black, space gray, silver, rose gold and gold.

The iPhone 7 smartphone is rumored to have a new home button that will have dustproof and waterproof capabilities, 9to5 Mac reported. Reports also indicate that a Smart Connector will be included in the device.

The upcoming Apple iPhone 7 will feature 14% bigger battery compared to iPhone 6s.

The new device will have a 1960mAh battery. On the other hand, iPhone 6s smartphone has a 1715mAh battery. It is said that the forthcoming iPhone will come packed with minimal design changes and new hardware. The iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7 will not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Rumor has it that the Cupertino-based company will stick with the 4.7in and 5.5in screen sizes. The Apple smartphone will be powered by A10 processor and may have a larger camera.

Meanwhile, rumors are doing the rounds that the electronics manufacturer LG is working on a new model for 2016.

According to new reports, the company will quickly launch a new LG V model earlier than last year.

LG has sped up the launch date for its upcoming device to compete with Apple and Samsung. Several reports claim that LG V20 or LG V11 is in the works and should be launched before the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

There are speculations that the device will be identical to the LG V10. Some of the rumored features of the upcoming LG device include an all-metal design, a 5.7 or 5.5-inch Quad-HD screen, improved fingerprint scanner, multiple cameras and a secondary display.
