Avid gamers anticipating the release of the upcoming action-adventure survival game "No Man's Sky" will be happy with the latest news. Hello Games has unveiled the first in a series of video clips to showcase what players may expect from the game.

"No Man's Sky" has been one of the upcoming gaming titles that many players have been looking forward to. A recently released trailer has now provided gamers a quick look at some of the worlds that they can explore, Polygon reported. The said video appears to be the first among several new trailers that Hello Games will unveil in the coming weeks.

The game developer focused the first clip on the many planets and the vast universe that players can explore in "No Man's Sky," as indicated in the trailer. The clip starts off with a view of a take-off chute as a flying vessel accelerates forward into space. The next few scenes then show various locations in space and on different planets.

Hello Games' "explore" trailer for the game also features some of the interesting flora and fauna that players may discover. Some of the clip's shots even showed desert-like locations with weird cactus plants while others displayed green fields or a snowy landscape. Players who enjoy exploration games will have fun discovering the limitless variety in the 18 quintillion planets included in the game, as stated in the clip.

Gamers hoping to learn more about "No Man's Sky" can look forward to the next set of videos for release. It appears that Hello Games will unveil three more trailers that will feature the game's fighting mode, trading element and survival gameplay, as hinted in the first video.

Meanwhile, several "No Man's Sky" game cover sleeves created by fan Itchyander has caught the attention of Hello Games executives. Itchyander posted the alternative fan art covers on Imgur that received compliments from the game's art director Grant Duncan and the game developer's founder Sean Murray, Express reported.

In a Twitter post, Duncan described Itchyander's covers as one of the "coolest" fan arts created for the game. Murray also seconded Duncan's statement and even complimented the said fan for the font used in the cover arts.

"No Man's Sky" has been slated for release in the U.S. on Aug. 9 for PS4 and PC.
