The rapper Armando Christian Pérez, or professionally known as Pitbull, can now be added to the list of people who are not happy with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. He has publicly state that he does not support the presidential hopeful.

The 35-year old rapper, who recently received a star plaque for his notable work in the music industry, reportedly told reporters that Trump's campaign is nothing but a "joke," according to Reuters.

It was sometime during the event at the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles when Pitbull delivered his unkind words about Trump. On the other hand, the rapper's star was unveiled on Friday, July 15, 2016.

"I think the [Trump's] campaign is a joke to be honest with you," he said. He thinks that Trump's approach is making American's look bad to the rest of the world.

It is being assumed that Pitbull's comments about the republican candidate is, in a way, his response to an article in Vanity Fair magazine. The article reported that the Cuban-American rapper met with Trump in Florida.

The article also mentioned that the rapper said Trump flew him in his helicopter to his West Palm Beach resort. Pitbull was then quoted saying, "I like to sit down with people and see what they've got going on, and if there's anybody that's fallen down and got back up... with all the bankruptcies he's been through-well, you have to respect certain things about him,"

Some readers then assumed that he was supporting the presidential candidate.

However, the rapper has made it very clear that he is not backing Trump at all, according to Huffington Post. "Am I supporting Donald Trump? No I am not supporting Donald Trump. You all know this already very well," Pitbull stated.

The rapper is apparently not happy with the way Trump speaks about Mexican immigrants. Because of the Republican nominees provocative comments about Latinos, the rapper previously mentioned that he would not be staying in Trump-owned hotels anymore.

Pitbull has collaborated with many big names in the music business such as Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Kesha and Shakira to name a few.
