‘Dragon Ball Super’ episode 52 recap and review: Gohan, Pan, Videl and Satan meet Future Trunks [SPOILERS]

Bulma gets to work as she wants the time machine ready as soon as possible. The recap of "Dragon Ball Super" (DBS) episode 52 explores Gohan and Future Trunks reunion and more.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 52 recap: "Master and Pupil Reunion - Son Gohan and Future Trunks"

The episode begins with Bulma working in her lab on the time machine and the Pilaf gang is helping her find the parts. Meanwhile, Shu believes that they are working like slaves but Mai tells him that he should stop cribbing as they are working for Trunks.

Bulma asks for a square wave amplifier which is in Laboratory no. 2 and kid Trunks go with Mai to bring it. He tries to find the amplifier but ends up finding the wrong item leading to Mai getting annoyed. Later, kid Trunks finds a hacksaw and poses it with like Future Trunks, but fails to impress Mai.

Elsewhere, Vegeta is in the gravity room. He remembers what Goku Black did to his loved ones and it fuels him. He demolishes all the obstacles and the impact shakes the premises. Goku thinks that Vegeta is quite angry. Beerus wonders about the dinner. Meanwhile, Whis uses his staff to watch Black Goku and Goku's fight.

In Capsule Corporation, Future Trunks is resting but Mai's thoughts are making him restless. Later, he stops at Bulma's lab to see the time machine. The time machine will take some time to get completely repaired, however, Bulma is able to figure out a way to get the fuel.

It is the same blue liquid she developed a few episodes back along with Monaka. Bulma reveals that one full day is needed to fill the tank. Trunks is surprised as in his timeline for just a one-way trip they would need a year to get the fuel.

Bulma says that her future self must have lacked the equipment to develop the fuel. But she assures that they have plenty of fuel. Meanwhile, Piccolo and Kuririn are repairing the field that was destroyed due to Goku and Goku Black's battle.

Trunks meets them and asks about Gohan. Piccolo tells him that if he wants to take Gohan with him to the future, he should drop the idea. Gohan is a changed man now. He is no more a fighter but a scholar.

Trunks is happy about Gohan fulfilling his dream. He reveals that Gohan was his martial arts teacher in the future and died while fighting the androids.

He never got a chance to pay his debt of gratitude to Gohan. Kuririn suggests that he can go and meet him. Piccolo tells him that he is at an academic conference. Trunks leaves to meet Gohan.

He waits outside the academy to meet him. Gohan is able to recognize Trunks, but Gohan's new look confuses him. Later, they sit on a bench in the park and eat ice cream from a local parlour. Trunks cannot believe that he is the same Gohan who once bravely fought Cell.

Gohan wants Trunks to come to his house and meet his family.

Gohan's family members are surprised to see Trunks from the future. Gohan introduces him to Videl and Mister Satan. Trunks tells him that he knows about Satan and before he can tell them. Satan says that he might be a great hero in his future.

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 52, Trunks also meets Pan who squirts milk on his face using his milk bottle. Later, she starts flying and Gohan has to become Great Saiyaman to bring her down.

Trunks is shocked to see Gohan's look. Later, Gohan asks him to stay for dinner. Videl starts cooking for them while Gohan gets back to work. Meanwhile, Satan shows his fights in a video to Trunks.

Later, Trunks imagine a life without Goku Black, he would have been living a peaceful life with Mai and Bulma. Trunks finishes his day with Gohan and his family and returns to Capsule Corporation.

Towards the end of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 52, Goku, Beerus and Whis are on their way to Universe 10. Goku is excited to meet the Kaioshin.
