"19 Kids and Counting" alums Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are rumored to stay in El Salvador for good.
A few months ago, the couple decided to temporarily relocate to El Salvador so they could be involved in missionary work.
Even though their plans shocked their family members and fans, the Dillards said that their stay in El Salvador will only be temporary.
However, The Hollywood Gossip Cop recently reported that the Dillards with their son Israel will be traveling back to the United States next month. However, they will only be in the country until the fall.
Last week, the Dillards themselves confirmed that their return to the U.S. has something to do with the filming for the second season of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On."
However, most of the couple's scenes will actually be taken from El Salvador.
"We are so excited to share that we will be returning in August for a short stateside term that will extend until the fall. We are really looking forward to seeing our families after nearly 10 months on foreign soil," the couple wrote on their blog.
"We plan on taking some Bible classes as we continue to work in ministry from the U.S. Serving in Central America has been an amazing experience so far for both of us (and Israel). We feel like we've made great advancements in just learning the culture and the language as well as building relationships with so many precious people," they concluded.
Meanwhile, there are some rumors that the Dillards will return to the U.S. not only for the filming of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," but also to have the patriarch's health checked.
Throughout the past couple of months since they transferred to El Salvador, it has been obvious that the Dillard has experienced extreme weight loss. Every photo that the couple posted on their social media accounts made the speculations even stronger.
In one of the posts, a fan urged Dillard to return to the U.S. so he could see a doctor.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" season 2 will air on TLC in the next couple of months.
