No, Taylor Swift and Kanye West are obviously not dating but the two were seen dining out together The Spotted Pig Restaurant in New York City in the evening of Feb. 17, Tuesday, TMZ reported.
It appears that Swift and West has publicly ended their feud five years after the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards controversy. The two made headlines at the time when West rushed to stage and grab the microphone from Swift, who was supposed to deliver her speech after winning Best Female Video, to say the award should be given to Beyoncé Knowles.
West was not the only one who made headlines after an MTV Video Music Awards event in the past years. Most recently, Jesse Helt, the 22-year-old man who made headlines as Miley Cyrus' date during the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards turned out to be a felon.
In 2010, Jesse Helt was arrested on criminal mischief, criminal trespass and burglary charges after breaking into the apartment of a man who had been selling what he believed to be bad marijuana, Associated Press reported.
The then 18-year-old Helt was sentenced to 30 days in jail and probation after he pleaded guilty to misdemeanour charges.
After he repeatedly failed to meet with his probation officer, a warrant for Helt's arrest was issued in November 2011 in Oregon but he moved to Los Angeles, where he lived on the streets as a struggling model.
"He doesn't make himself available to community supervision, and he takes off," Polk County Director of Community Corrections Martin Silbernagel said adding that authorities are trying to locate and arrest Helt.
