When playing Pokémon GO, what could be the best way to spot and eventually catch all pocket monsters - the rare ones and Legendaries including?

The three easy hacks below should do the trick:

Use Ingress to track them down

One Pokémon GO player claimed that he has in his account all 142 pocket monsters that can found in North America and the credit goes to Ingress, which is another augmented reality mobile app created by Pokémon  GO developer Niantic Labs. Apparently, Ingress can point to the same spots where there is heavy concentration of Mons and they include the rare and Legendaries.

And that's because "Niantic uses much of the same data in Ingress and Pokémon GO," BGR said in a report. The same player said that Ingress served as his compass to so-called Pokémon hotspots where all sort of Pokémon can be found, which in the future could soon include the hard to find birds like Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos.

But using the cheat tool has its share of hiccups too. Efficiency is not 100% during server congestion moments - that is great number of players in a given area.

Poké Hound

Like Poké  Vision before it, Poké Hound promises to deliver all the Pokémon available minus much of the walking required. BGR said in a separate report that the hack tool will point players to Pokémon-rich locations and then some more. "Developers have discovered ways to access data in Pokémon GO to recreate a map of Pokémon spawn locations that tell you what type of Pokémon are around you, and how long they're going to be available for," the report said.

Compared to Poké Vision, Poké Hound is more comprehensive in terms of coverage and offers extra services such as guiding a player to the exact spot where a Pokémon is hiding.

Pick the right team

And when hunting for the rare and Legendary Pokémon, it appears that choosing the right team - Team Instinct (Yellow), Team Valor (Red) and Team Mystic (Blue) - could prove crucial to the success of the task. Niantic CEO John Hanke has revealed that rare Pokémon or the Legendaries "kinda aligned with the teams." According to Business Insider, the new info could "play into which of those same birds players can catch."

For players' reference, the following configurations are to be considered when hunting for the rare and Legendaries in Pokémon GO (courtesy of Pref.com): Instinct (Zapdos) focuses on hatching eggs, Mystic (Articuno) focuses on evolving Pokémon and Valor (Moltres) focuses on battles.
