The first trailer of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 released at the Comic-Con revealed two familiar characters from its comic book, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and Shiva, a tiger. Apart from it, the first look at the new season also gave a clue which among the characters will be killed by Negan.
During the show's panel at the event, the new characters were revealed through "The Walking Dead" Season 7 first trailer. Executive producer Robert Kirkman hinted that more characters will be appearing in the future, which will be loved by readers who followed the comic book.
"We'll always be bringing characters from the comics," Slash Film quoted Kirkman as saying. "We were reaching that point where Ezekiel is in the storyline so it was just a natural progression. As we move through the storyline, we'll be bringing some characters in episodes, some characters later and stuff like that but there will definitely be other characters that you can see this season and some surprises coming I think. Right now it's all about Ezekiel and Shiva as far as new characters."
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 was anticipated to be gruesome after the trailer left a major cliffhanger that showed Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) holding his bat and ready to kill again. Speculations are high on who will be killed in Season 7.
A closer look at the trailer could reveal that the next victim of Negan will be among: Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), according to Cleveland. It will be impossible that Glenn or Daryl will be the next victim because they are both kneeling far-off from Negan.
Eliminating the chance of Glenn to be killed, the next possible victim is Abraham. There is also another speculation that Negan may have killed not one, but two characters in the new season.
Abraham dies through an arrow struck on his eye while Glenn was Negan's first victim in the Robert Kirkman's comic book. Abraham's fate was given to Denise in the serial drama series.
When it comes to who will be Negan's next victim, watch "The Walking Dead" Season 7. It will return on Oct. 23 on AMC.
