Jonas was among the artists who were left out of the fun and he shared on Twitter, "Disappointed with the fact 'Close' got no love for the #VMAs2016."

Jonas pointed out that after thinking more about it, he realized there are so many amazing things happening in his life and career. "9 out of 10 boxes are checked..." he posted on social media page adding he will not let this one thing get to him.

Jonas said, "Everything is awesome, I am feeling so grateful these day and will focus more on caring less about the small stuff."

Meanwhile, according to E! News, Jonas will be travelling the country throughout the summer with Demi Lovato for the Honda Civic Tour. The two singers will be hosted by Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora on the afternoon of Aug. 2. They will sit for a question and answer session at around 1 p.m. ahead of their scheduled night concert at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

The owner and operator of Chicago Premium Outlets, Simon Premium, is the exclusive retail sponsor for the "Honda Civic Tour: Future Now." The tour which is taking place at more than 40 venues in Canada and the U.S. kicked off in June and ends in September, Chicago Tribune reported.

Phil Whitsel, area manager at Chicago Premium Outlets said they are very excited to host two of the biggest names in music at their center. "This special experience is sure to delight and entertain our loyal shoppers," Whitsel added.

Once Jonas takes the stage, fans can expect to hear his hits and also tracks in his latest album "Last Year Was Complicated."

"We are excited to be travelling out together," Jonas told E!News. He shared their friendship and said they are great collaborators and business partners, and creating a show that really showcases the growth in both of their careers will be really exciting.
