Big things are about to happen in Storybrooke in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. New characters are coming, the Evil Queen is out to wreak havoc and Belle might be getting a new powerful ally.

"Once Upon a Time" hasn't been so kind to Rumplestilskin and Belle lately, and most of the time, the couple gets knocked out in the ring. But that might all change as they get a boost from a new character in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6.

The show has tapped "True Blood" and "24" alum Giles Matthey to play Morpheus, the insightful god of dreams in Greek mythology. Entertainment Weekly reported that Morpheus is "equally good at reading people as he is at hiding his own agenda." Moreover, he will be the guiding light as the characters explore the world of dreams.

Although it wasn't revealed how exactly Morpheus might be of service to Emilie de Ravin's Belle, the Greek god's ability to travel through dreams allows him to interact with her as she's locked in a sleeping curse. He might also help Rumple reach Belle through dreams.

In an interview with TV Line, de Ravin teased that there's a big change with Rumple and Belle's relationship in Season 6. After having a rather rough relationship in past seasons, the couple is more honest with each other, as they become accepting of what the other is instead of changing one another. There's definitely a new perspective in the relationship and a lot of interesting twists and turns. Additionally, Belle and Rumple are expecting, and the idea of having baby number two is something Rumple is very excited about.

Meanwhile, new and old faces will be making their way to Storybrooke in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. The show revisits Cinderella's story and her friendship with Snow White.

Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and Jafar are also riding the magic carpet to Storybrooke. "Once Upon a Time" showrunner Adam Horowitz revealed at Comic Con that viewers will get a taste of Aladdin's world in the premiere episode. However, Jafar has been recast, as Naveen Andrews has signed up for a series regular role in "Sense8." "The Mummy" star Oded Fehr has since taken over.
