The chance just got higher that Google will make the Nexus 2016 release happen anytime in August as new reports indicate that the new mobile operating system to power the Stock Android flagships will be deployed next month. Android 7.0 Nougat is officially coming out in the next few weeks, a well-known tech tipster said.
In his latest Twitter post, Evan Blass or @evleaks claimed that the next Android or the sequel to Android Marshmallow will finally debut in August. Then known as Android N, Nougat was introduced in May this year via the Google I/O Developers Conference.
Android 7.0 releases next month, with the 8/5 security patch. Sorry Nexus 5 owners, no Nougat for you
