"Girl Meets World" has just been picked up by Disney Channel for a fourth season.

According to TV Line, some fans started speculating on what Rowan Blanchard posted on her Twitter account. At that time, the young actress felt a tad bit emotional over the last filming day for season and posted a cryptic tweet.

However, a representative from the TV network told the publication that the fate of the series hasn't been confirmed yet. After all, season 3 will air new episodes until next year so it's still very early to say whether or not "Girl Meets World" will be renewed.

"We are wrapping production next week on the third season. With episodes airing on Disney Channel into 2017, there's no news to share yet about a fourth season," the rep said.

Meanwhile, before fans worry about "Girl Meets World" ending after season 3, viewers should first look forward to the big "Boy Meets World" reunion that will be part of the finale episode.

Photos from the recent reunion were posted on the show's official Twitter account.

In other news, Bustle claimed that the way Disney Channel ended the Riley-Lucas-Maya love triangle proved that "Girl Meets World" is a feminist show.

Originally, when fans learned that there is a love triangle between the three characters, they questioned how come the sitcom is encouraging a possible fight between best friends.

However, the love triangle storyline was finally resolved on Friday night - with Lucas (Peyton Meyer) choosing Riley (Blanchard) over Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).

But instead of the two young girls fighting with each other, Maya accepted the fact that Lucas didn't choose her. In a shocking twist, Maya even told Riley and Lucas that she just played along in their love story to make sure that Riley wouldn't get hurt.

Even though this defense didn't make much sense, it cannot be denied that the creators of "Girl Meets World" attacked the storyline positively.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
