"Thinking About You" singer Frank Ocean is finally set to release his second album on Aug. 5, Friday, after a long wait from impatient fans because of several delays.

Frank Ocean's first album, entitled "channel ORANGE", was released in 2012, and the follow-up album is about to be released four years later through Apple Music after they had made an exclusive deal, according to a source from The New York Times.

The sophomore album is entitled "Boys Don't Cry" will be first available in Apple in its first two weeks upon release, then it will eventually spread its availability out after, according to the publication. The album will be accompanied by a music video, which is also set to be sold at Apple stores.

The release date of the album that will succeed his debut album, which has won and garnered six Grammy Awards, has been repeatedly pushed back since last July 2015, according to The New York Daily News.  The R&B star's latest promise was last month, July, but he yet again failed to drop the album which outraged the fans and left them irate.

Even though Ocean had already promised the release on Aug. 5, some fans have remained doubtful and would only believe it once it has been finally released for good. There had also been a strange live stream video on his website when the announcement has been made, but the fans were further enraged when the drop date was not mentioned.

The R&B singer has been a recluse ever since he released his massively influential album back in 2012. Ocean only made rare appearances after it dropped, in which he appeared to have collaborated with "Famous" rapper Kanye West on a track entitled "Wolves", and British singer James Blake.

"Boys Don't Cry" is one of the most awaited albums for 2016, and with the infamous track record of the album's delays. Nonetheless, this gives fans some lingering hope that they will eventually get to listen to it, and that it is within the realm of possibility that the singer is possibly only building up more hype for it.
