Sleeping can be very challenging, especially if you are the type of person who needs more time to adjust in bed before snoozing, let alone leave you with someone to share the bed with.

According to Health, 25 percent of Americans resort to separate sleeping rooms, in order to have that peaceful sleep. Although said to be effective, Dr. Michael Breus, a clinical psychologist, said that this type of sleeping habit may ruin intimacy. In case the habit of not sleeping together does not appeal to individuals, there are some points that people may want to consider.

Most people have a problem sleeping because their partner snores. This problem can be taken cared by visiting a sleep doctor. Snoring can be a cause of sleep Apnea that doctors say, it's treatable.

Most people are also not able to sleep because of noisy kids at night. If this is the case, the person should always set boundaries. People need to talk to their partner or spouse about how to handle it and make an exception of midnight situations, where the kid may be in serious trouble.

For couples who have different sleeping time, they may need to make a deal to respect each others sleeping time, strive to be quiet during those times and avoid doing activities that may disturb the sleeping party.

Most of the time, the problems causing this difficulty in sleeping is snoring and sleep Apnea. Sleep Apnea is a serious condition and is characterized by difficulty in breathing at night. Although serious, Doctors say that the said condition is treatable.
