The odds are against the Straw Hat pirates as they find themselves trapped in all corners. Also, it seems like Big Mom offered Jinbei something he cannot refuse.
In the previous chapter, Pedro and Brook found out that the enemy knows every movement they make. Meanwhile, Luffy finds himself confused as to who his real comrades are. Fans over at Oro Jackson came up with their "One Piece" chapter 835 predictions and most believe that the giant in the Seducing forest is actually one of Big Mom's sons.
He will also ask Luffy to get him some apple juice and remove the spear on his back. Upon doing so, the giant introduces himself and reveals to Luffy where his comrades whereabouts are. Scene shifts to Pekoms who is badly hurt after being shot by Capone once again. He falls to the see where sharks are lurking. Fortunately, the Sun Pirates are nearby and was able to save him from the predators. Then, he reveals Capone's plans to the pirate group.
As Brook and Pedro try to cover their trails, they were spotted by Big Mom's lackey and are now being pursued by her henchmen. Baron Tamago makes a call to someone in the Road Poneglyph room and warns them that Pedro is coming to steal it. He also ordered them to make sure that the Leopard Mink will be dead this time around.
Lastly, Sanji's two elder brothers arrive in the Germa Kingdom and upon seeing their younger brother, they mocked him for being weak, which infuriates Sanji even more. They make their way to the upcoming wedding ceremony.
Meanwhile, some fans over at Manga Sail discussed why Jinbei backed out from his intention to quit Big Mom's crew. Turns out, the punishment he received is losing people valuable to him which also include the whole population in Fishman Island. However, some believe the news was fabricated and Jinbei insisted with his desire to leave the crew.
As a quick refresher on the previous chapter, Capone Bege's wife and son were introduced while Sanji remains furious for not being able to break free from the shackles his father put on him. Here is a video recap of "One Piece" chapter 834.
