"One Piece" chapter 835 was just released and Big Mom's devil fruit was finally revealed. Also, Lola's father has been introduced as well.
The latest chapter is now out courtesy of Manga Mint. Chapter began with an explanation of the rules in Big Mom's island. Inhabitants are required to give a portion of their lifespan to give life to other beings within the island. Scene shifted to Luffy who has captured all the mirror images of his crew members but he got the real Nami unconsciously.
Turns out, Nami was able to escape the grasp of Charlotte Brullee thanks to her new clima-tact. Carrot immediately made her move but her attacks were not able to land to the villain. Brullee ate the Mirror-Mirror fruit, which gives her the ability to reflect anything that comes at her. As Carrot makes another move, she was absorbed by the mirror and was trapped inside.
Chopper told Nami to run as Luffy will not be able to escape the Seducing Woods if all three of them are captured. The Straw Hat doctor transformed to his monster form to fend off the enemies. As Nami and Luffy orchestrate a plan, the gigantic head stuck in the ground shared some vital information on how Big Mom's devil fruit works. The Yonkou is the eater of the Soul-Soul fruit, which grants her the ability to transfer souls and give life to inanimate objects.
Before he reveals more information, Charlotte Cracker pulled him out of the ground. Also, The person stuck in the forest is actually Lola's father and Capone Bege's wife, Chiffon.
Hence, fans over at Oro Jackson believe that Lola's father will help them get to the wedding after Nami tells him the story on how they saved Lola at Thriller Bark. Many believe that Lola's father is strong in his own right as the Yonkou will not choose a husband who is a weakling.
Also, this will sway Capone Bege to Luffy's side as Chiffon will feel like she owe the Straw Hats for saving her sister as well as her father. Here is a video review of this chapter.
