A rep for the actress confirmed the news to E! News. It was being rumored earlier that the actress will be lecturing to the students of the Washington, D.C. University after being invited there by none other than their executive director, Melanne Verveer.

However, it is now confirmed that the actress will actually be teaching at the London School of Economics, an institute that enjoys a partnership with the Georgetown Institute. She will be accompanied by William Hague and is scheduled to take the class this fall.

"We enjoy a partnership with the London School of Economics as part of that work, where Angelina Jolie and William Hague are scheduled to teach a class in the fall," People quoted Rachel Pugh, a representative of Georgetown University, as saying. "There are no current plans for Ms. Jolie to teach at Georgetown."

It was announced back in May that Jolie will be a visiting professor at the London School of Economics. She will provide lectures on "Women, Peace and Security" as part of the School's one-year master's program. The one of a kind course is the brainchild of the 41-year-old actress and the former U.K. foreign secretary.

Interestingly, Jolie herself did not have any formal college education. However, she has an unparalleled level of worldly experience from working as a special envoy for the United Nations, which seems to be fitting seeing as her coursework primarily focuses on women's rights on the global scale.

Apart from being a successful actress, Jolie is also known world over for her humanitarian work since 2000. The actress famously visited Cambodia to film "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider," where she was moved by the plight of women and children in war torn regions. She is now well noted for advocating on behalf of refugees as a Special Envoy for the U.N. and has been recognized all over the world with countless prestigious accolades for her work on the front-lines.
