"Devious Maids" season 4 recently aired its finale episode on Monday night.

While the show was able to solve the mystery surrounding Perri's death; the hit Lifetime series also left fans with another grueling question: What happened to Mirasol?

In the final scene from season 4, Marisol was supposed to tie the knot with her fiancé Peter, but she didn't make it down the aisle.

Upon checking her room, Rosie, Zoila and Carmen discovered that Marisol has done missing.

As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Marisol was kidnapped or killed. It is also unclear who could be responsible for her sudden disappearance.

While speaking with TV Line, executive producer Sabrina Wood said that Marisol's disappearance will be the biggest mystery of "Devious Maids" season 5.

"It will launch us into the new season. We have so many thoughts of what it all means, but we have to wait to talk to Lifetime about them. It will be a completely new story," she said.

Meanwhile, there are some rumors that Marisol's disappearance may have a connection with Evelyn. After all, the latter was Marisol's maid of honor and she was also the one who asked Zoila, Rosie and Carmen to go to Marisol's room.

According to Wood, this theory may not be proven correct because Evelyn was chosen to be Marisol's maid of honor because they developed such a close relationship in season 4.

"We felt like we owed it to Evelyn and Marisol's relationship this season that, for some reason, Evelyn had taken over as a sort of handmaiden. In our minds, the maids were all with Marisol earlier, but once the ceremony started, Evelyn was running the show-and she lost Marisol," she explained.

In other news, there was also a very intriguing exchange of glances between Zoila and Adrian while at the church.

There are rumors that Zoila and Adrian might have hooked up in the one year time jump.

"There are definitely chances that things have happened... She's the kind of person who can call somebody on their sh*t and he's kind of person who's totally full of sh*t, so we think they're just a fun combination," she said.

"Devious Maids" season 5 will premiere on Lifetime in June 2017.
