"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is close to completing the first half of its alleged final season, but executive producer Marlene King just hinted on the possibility of the Freeform TV series being renewed.

On her Twitter account, the exec posted a photo with the words "Change Ahead" on it. She captioned the tweet, "When you see the light at the end of the tunnel."

Fans of "Pretty Little Liars" immediately gave King's tweet color by saying that this could mean there's hope that the series will be renewed for another season.

Previously, there were reports that season 7 will be the last for the series, but King clarified that she never deliberately confirmed such report.

In fact, on her Twitter account, King also clarified that she only told Variety that Uber A's story will official end in season 7. But season 8 is still a possibility.

Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is expected to feature more character deaths in the upcoming episodes. Just recently, Dre Davis' character Sara Harvey was the second one to have been killed off.

While speaking with TV Line, the actress said that she doesn't have any idea who killed her. However, the actress said that if it's up to her, she wants to know who stabbed her character.

"I do want to know, but I want Sara's mysteries to be revealed slowly. As an actress, I don't want spoilers. That's not my concern. I just want Sara to be fully revealed. I like that she was such a mysterious character and I'd like to know more," she said.

In other news, Davis is very pleased with the opportunity to return to "Pretty Little Liars" briefly in season 7.

"I never expected any kind of redemption, to be honest. There was one day on set where Shay Mitchell was like, 'Wow, we've really done so much sh*t to you,' and I was like, 'Well, I've done sh*t to you, too!' I don't think Sara really deserved much. I mean, she lost the use of her hands, but everybody ends up with scars in Rosewood," she said.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
