If reports are anything to go by, the tech company Google will release Android 7.0 Nougat update for Nexus range on August 22, 2016.
According to a Forbes report, the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will get Android 7.0 Nougat beginning August 22. It is likely that the latest update will roll out OTA, meaning that carrier-free and unlocked Nexus devices will receive the Android 7.0 updates earlier.
Previous reports suggested that the new operating system version of Android will include improved Data Saver option that will allow owners to set up halt and warning limits, making it easy to manage mobile data allowances.
In addition, it will allow unrestricted data access to particular apps. It will restrain access to internet to the apps for users who have limited data plans.
Earlier this year, the search giant rolled out Android N Developer Preview that offered early access to Android Nougat on Sony Xperia Z3, Google Pixel C and Google Nexus devices.
Meanwhile, the companty LG has declared an Android N limited preview program for Korean G5s that debuts on August 22. According to many reports, Google shares the final code of its operating system with smartphone makers in advance.
This lets the manufacturers to add their own custom skin on top before rolling out the Android update to their devices.
LG has confirmed that it will release V20 flagship running Android N on September 6, 2016. Also, according to a Reddit user, the pre-orders for the upcoming smartphone will go live for subscribers of T-Mobile starting September 14.
Furthermore, reports also indicate that the LG V20 will begin rolling out on September 23 with a price tag of $650.
It is said that the mobile carrier T-Mobile will include a bundle pack for early purchases. The device under contract will come with one additional accessory, and people can select from an enhanced hand grip, memory module attachment or 3 Vudu rentals and a one-year free pass on Hulu.
It is said that the LG V20 will carry top-tier specifications, and may release with a step-up Snapdragon 821 chipset.
