For some reason, the NBA trade rumor mill had Chris Bosh being linked to a number of teams.

The rumor that stood out like a broken toe was that Bosh was going to the New York Knicks as reported by both Parent Herald and also picked up by Inquisitr.

Is this even possible? Not until Bosh's health is certified. No team in the league will let him play while he is still using blood thinners (as it should be because the consequences could be fatal). That is what the $23 million question for the Miami Heat.

Both reports took this factor in consideration and the Inqusitr's Adrian Lowhorn, to his credit, admitted that a trade with the Knicks would be very difficult at this point.

"There are only two players on New York's roster who can be dealt for Chris Bosh: Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose. Both teams are over the cap, and Bosh is scheduled to make $23.7 million next season. The Knicks don't even have a group of lower-paid players they could include in a trade package for Bosh, so the bottom line is that a trade between New York and Miami for Chris Bosh is nearly impossible at this time."

While the Knicks are tight on assets and cap space, the Denver Nuggets are trade-ready but they are still held on by the conditions of Bosh's health. Sports Illustrated team blog Nugg Love has explored the possibility of trading for Chris Bosh. If he does get clearance to play, Bosh is still a very versatile player with his multitude of skills and his ability to adjust to any role. With his length and consistent shooting range, Bosh is still a quality big man in the NBA.

That's why Bosh will still command a king's ransom in a trade. The scenario proposed by Tim Hart of Nugg Love has Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler and Joffrey Lauvergne heading to South Beach for Chris Bosh and reserve center/forward Willie Reed.

A frontline of Nikola Jokic and Bosh would be a good pairing as both players have skills to complement each other. For the Heat, they get to fill in a lot of positions and also gain youth with Lauvergne.

As Hart concluded, "the Denver Nuggets would see an immediate boost with the acquisition of a veteran all-star with a reliable shot, and the Heat would be set-up with a rejuvenated starting 5, capable of outdoing last season's line-up, and even more likely to help the team out down the road."

Everything mentioned here hinges on Bosh's health. Until then, he is the Miami Heat's dilemma, although everyone is wishing the best for him.
