After the shutdown of KickassTorrents by the U.S. government, people are making use of other torrent sites like ThePirateBay and ExtraTorrents to download digital media. There are several Kickass proxy and mirror sites that appear like KAT and allow users to download desired content.

Cryptoneat.ua and Cryptoneat.com URLs of the company that is suspected to related to KAT is no longer working after the shutdown of KickassTorrents. Its Facebook and Instagram accounts are also no longer accessible, Torrent Freak reported. Hence, rumors suggest that it is unlikely to return again. Torrentz, the highly popular search engine for finding torrents is also down.
Some of the KAT alternatives that have gained popularity now include ThePirateBay, ExtraTorrents, Isohunt.to and YTS.ag. Another site that is gaining attention is Torrentday. It is a private site and provides limited access KAT users, TheBitBag reported.
