Murray, who won a second-straight Gold Medal at the Olympic Games, hopes to carry some of his momentum in Rio as the Scot readies himself for another impressive run at the US Open, and the three-time Grand Slam winner intends to maximize his best form in tournaments to come.

"I hope I'm still playing like this when I'm 38 years old, but it's pretty unlikely," Murray said, reports the Independent.

"I'm actually using that as a positive. You have to make the most of every opportunity. It's a slightly different mentality to maybe when you're younger and you feel like you have a bit more time on your side. I want to make the most of every tournament I play in and try and win and achieve as much as I can the next few years."

Murray leads Rosol by 2-0 in their FedEx ATP Head2Head career singles matchup. Their most recent meeting last year in Munich was a feisty affair, with Rosol shoulder-bumping Murray during a changeover in their match that provoked the latter to say, "No one likes you on the tour. Everyone hates you."

"He's a tough, tough opponent," Murray said of Rosol, reports the BBC. "He's a big strong guy, goes for his shots, takes a lot of risks.

"He's caused upsets in the Slams before. Everyone will probably remember him beating Rafa [Nadal] at Wimbledon a few years ago."

The winner between Murray and Rosol will face either Juan Monaco of Argentina or Spain's Marcel Granollers.
