"Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) Season 7 will go on a long hiatus after its summer finale (episode 10 "The Darkest Knight") airing on Aug. 30. The show will not return until spring 2017. Fans will have to wait months to find out what happens next in episode 11 (midseason premiere). Here are a few details and spoilers from the upcoming episodes of the fan-favourite series.

In a recent live Facebook chat, "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) showrunner Marlene King announced that the Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse starrer series will return in April 2017. As noted by TV Line, Season 7b will feature the final 10 episodes of the series before it concludes.

King and the cast confirmed that "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) Season 7 will mark the end of the series. But before the show comes to an end, it is expected to resolve the big mystery and reveal the identity of the Uber A. At the same time, it is expected to answer several other burning questions that fans have.

In addition, fans can expect to find out who will Spencer finally settle with and the future of other couples-Haleb and Ezria. Meanwhile, more is expected to be revealed about Mary Drake, her second child, Noel Kahn and Nicole's fate.

Meanwhile, King promised to answer fans' questions before the series finale. "I'm excited for fans to finally have all of their questions answered, and I believe they will be satisfied with the wild ride that is our last ten episodes," King said as quoted by Deadline.

The abovementioned website is speculating that the second wave of "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) Season 7 may see more "homecomings and reunions, bringing back old characters as it has already done in the first half of the season, including Wren Kingston (Julian Morris), Pastor Ted Wilson (Edward Kerr), Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok), Paige McCullers (Lindsey Shaw) and Sydney Driscoll (Chloe Bridges)." Further, the report suggests that a wedding for one of the liars is expected to be in the second part of the final season.

While it is too early to expect any solid details of midseason premiere, the show's producer has spoiled the title of "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) Season 7 episode 11 on Twitter answering a fan's question. As noted by the showrunner on his Twitter account, the 7b opener is titled "Playtime" and it is written by Allyson Nelson and Joseph Dougherty and directed by Chad Lowe.

Further, episode 11 is expected to focus on the aftermath of the events of episode 10 (midseason finale) featuring the death of a Rosewood resident, and major revelations of past and future. What are your predictions? Let us know in comment section below.
