Season 2 of "Lucifer" is set to air this September and it is all about Lucifer Morningstar and Amenadiel's mom (Tricia Helfer). Mom has escaped hell and show writer and executive producer Joe Henderson talked about "Lucifer" Season 2.

In an interview with Showbizjunkies.com at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016, Henderson shared details about "Lucifer Season 2."
"Season two? Mom. If you want to go from one word to two words, Tricia Helfer. She is awesome. She just came in and owned the role in a way you rarely see but when you hire Tricia Helfer, you know is going to happen," Henderson said.
Henderson mentioned that Amenadiel and Lucifer would be working together in the new season.
He also talked about romance and what is in store in the love department.
"That's a very good question. Let me see... We will be building to some inter-character romances. For the beginning of the arc it's mostly dealing with mom here and what that does to us. But we're definitely laying some seeds in the further half of the season that we build to."
Fox has released a promo for "Lucifer" Season 2 and it showcases the escape of Lucifer's mom from hell.
Meanwhile, "Lucifer" Writers Room (official Twitter account) have been releasing the titles of the upcoming episodes.
"Lucifer" Season 2, episode 1 "Everything's Coming Up Lucifer" is airing Sept. 19.
"Lucifer" Season 2, Episode 2 "Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire" is airing Sept. 26
"Lucifer" Season 2, Episode 3 "Sin-Eater" is airing Oct. 3
"Lucifer" Season 2, Episode 4 "Lady Parts" is airing Oct. 10
"Lucifer" Season 2, Episode 5 "The Weaponizer" is airing Oct. 17
"Lucifer" Season 2, Episode 6 "Monster" is airing Oct. 24
"Lucifer" Season 2, Episode 7 "My Little Monkey" is airing Oct. 31.
