For those who missed "New Girl" Season 4 Episode 17 titled "I Hate Your Flaws," here is a recap.
There was a Spiderhunt in this episode and Schmidt was successful in forcing everyone else to kill his most feared spider nemesis.
Hypable's recap states that on this episode is Fawn's first time to visit the loft. Nick was asked by Schmidt to make a special sauce for the fondue they were going to serve Fawn. Jess, on the other hand is a little confused on how the sauce tastes like and also on why her calls are not answered by Cece. Cece is apparently already warned by Winston that Jess' actions are suspicious.
When Schmidt was near Jess, she swats something off him. This apparently is a spider. It causes Schmidt to really feel quite scared and he freaks out. Since Fawn is coming over, he wants everyone to help him kill the spider for Fawn not to see him freaking out over it.
Jess easily finds out the real reason why Cece did not come over. This revelation happened even if Winston kept his end of the bargain in keeping Cece's secret. However, Cece went over the loft to join the gang.
The funny incidents on how the people in the loft did the spider hunt were reported by AV Club. They break into teams of two to find and exterminate the spider. Coach, however, is quite distracted because he is constantly thinking of how to email May. Cece is being smartly cornered by Jess in her quest to find out who Cece really likes. Cece keeps on telling that it is not Schmidt and that why Jess just can't help her with whatever she is going through. Jess thinks that Cece likes Nick.
Initially, Winston thinks that it is good to just let Jess think that she is right. However, Jess begins to freak out in her room. Then Winston tries to change the story by saying that Nick thinks that Cece is ugly.
Jess seems not convinced with Winston's story, so she locks up Cece and Nick in a room. Then finally, Cece went to admit that it is really Schmidt that she likes.
