Struggling teams West Ham United FC (1-2-0, 3 points) and Watford FC (0-2-1, 1 point) are scheduled to meet at the London Stadium on Sep. 10, Saturday as both clubs try to boost each one's 2016-2017 Premier League season's campaigns following a lackluster start to the term.

West Ham, last season's seventh-place finishers and Europa league qualifiers, had struggled to find their form in their first three games this term, as they dropped a 1-2 game to Chelsea in their season-opener before pulling off a 1-0 win over lowly team Bournemouth in their next game.

The Hammers are now coming off a 1-3 spanking from top team Manchester City on Aug. 28 at the Etihad Stadium before the Premier League went on a one-week international break, suffering their second loss in three games, The Guardian reported.

City winger Raheem Sterling opened the scoring at the seventh minute before Brazilian teammate Fernandinho quickly doubled the lead 11 minutes later to stun the visitors early in the match.

Head coach Slaven Bilić's side managed to cut the lead to one point with a goal from midfielder Michail Antonio at the 58th, but Sterling sealed the game with his second goal of the game in stoppage time.

Meanwhile, Watford is still winless with one draw and two losses so far in the season. The team drew with Southampton, 1-1, during their season-opener before falling to Chelsea, 1-2, in their second game.

The Hornets were crushed by another contending side, Arsenal, 1-3, at their own home field of Vicarage Road on Aug. 27 for their second consecutive loss this season, via SkySports.

Three straight goals from the Gunners in the first half allowed the visitors to take control of the game with head coach Walter Mazzarri's boys scoring only once in the second half, courtesy of midfielder Roberto Pereyra's put back strike at the 58th minute to score in his debut for the club.
