Although chapter 500 release schedule has not been firmed up yet, predictions for chapter 501 have already started circulating online. Most of the speculations casted for the upcoming chapter involves Invel's revelation of END's identity, which he confirmed to be Natsu.
Aside from the information that may shock Gray, Juvia, whom most readers thought was already dead, appears to be still alive as the next chapter unfolds. If the spoilers for chapter 500 becomes true, majority of the predictions by some fans at Reddit follows the events.
It has been suggested by one user that Gray will not be believing Invel's claims the moment he reveals the identity of END. In his disbelief, the Fairy Tail guild member will be again attacking his opponent, damaging him heavily. Gray would be in denial and would state some justifications that Natsu and END are totally different, saying the latter is a demon that has been hunted by his comrade for a long time already.
The Ice Mage will not try to convince Gray but again mentioned some foretelling saying the former is meant to destroy Natsu. In the end, Gray will be knocking him out subsequently leaving the scene. While he does not want to believe what he has heard, at the back of his mind, he thinks he needs to confront and ask Natsu about the information.
Meanwhile, a separate post by Yonkou Productions tackled the confrontation between Brandish and Dimaria. Brandish will reportedly enlarge Natsu's tumor causing the latter to collapse in pain. Lucy will try to convince her, but the former will only ask Lucy to fight her.
Dimaria enters the scene and fights Brandish. It seemed the illustrations were telling Dimaria cut Brandish off which had the latter bleeding to death. Though the post suggests Dimaria was killed by Brandish, many fans said in the comments sections that it is another fake death for the manga series.
Chapter 501 of "Fairy Tail" will be released in Shonen Jump at still indefinite date. Readers are advised to take everything with a grain of salt until information is official.
