NXT has become the WWE's third brand despite being the company's developmental system for new talents. However, the latest rumors suggest that one current rising NXT star wants to leave due to having problems learning the WWE style of wrestling as well as the English language.

In a recent interview with Mas Lucha, former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio revealed that Andrade "Cien" Almas wants to leave NXT and go back to Mexico. Del Rio noted that the man formerly known as La Sombra is having difficulty adjusting to life in the United States.

"I talked to my good friend Manny (Andrade) and poor guy, he wants to come back. Unfortunately, when you go into that company you have to abide by their rules. That's just how it is. It's the nature of our business," Del Rio said, as transcribed by Wrestling Inc.

The former WWE World Champion said that he gave Almas some advice on how to last and succeed in the WWE. He noted that he told him to forget everything he knows since he has to start over. He added that the Lucha Libre style will not work in the WWE.

Del Rio also said that Almas is also having difficulties in learning the language but he has the physique that the WWE likes. He is very talented and possesses great potential as the next great Mexican wrestler the company has been looking for.

The 26-year-old signed with the WWE in November 2015 and made his television debut at NXT TakeOver: The End on June 8, defeating Tye Dillinger. However, he got defeated by the debuting Bobby Roode at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II.

According to FanSided, the WWE has failed to build Almas' character on television. Despite being a good wrestler, he is only looked by fans as a superstar who smiles a lot and wears a fedora during his entrance.

The report noted that the company should develop Almas and his character first before even thinking of promoting him to the main roster. If they fail to do that, he could end up just like Apollo Crews, who is a talented wrestler but no real character.

Nevertheless, the development of Almas lies in the hands of NXT coaches and they are known to improve superstar gimmicks. Check out the video below to see Almas face Austin Aries in an episode of NXT.
