Buckeyes: After two lopsided win against Bowling Green 77-10 and Tulsa 48-3, Ohio State will take on its first real challenge of their 2016 football campaign as they play Oklahoma on the road.

The Buckeyes are ranked no.3 in the poll right now, but that could change in a blink of an eye if they don't come up with a great gameplan against the Sooners, who are still licking their wounds after a loss to the University of Houston in the season-opener.

Ohio State is still waiting for a big game from quarterback J.T Barrett, who has already covered 498 yards with 6 touchdown passes. Running back Miles Webber (228 yards and 1 TD) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (239 yards and 2 TDs) also need to step up their game to survive the Sooners.

Sooners: As already mentioned, Oklahoma caught surprised in their first game against Houston two weeks ago. They blasted Louisiana Monroe 59-17 in a game they are expected to win big. If the Sooners want to get back to title contention, a victory against the no.3 ranked Buckeyes must happen.

Baker Mayfield (567 yards with 5 TD) and Mark Andrews (154 yards and 3TDs) need to hook up several times, giving them the Sooners a primary scoring threat vs. the 3rd best defensive team in the nation (6 points against per game).

Experts Pick: ESPN Match-up predictor favored the Sooners to pull off an upset against the untested Buckeyes in this pivotal match-up.

However, Bleacher Report likes the chance of Ohio State cruising to a victory because of their reputation as a solid big game team, having won 11 out of their 14 games against ranked opponents. Sooners, on the other hand, are just 5-5 SU and 4-6 ATS over the last 10 outing.
