South Korean star Ko Kyung Pyo has unveiled his close friendship with the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" star Park Bo Gum. The actor even made mention of how he and Park would support each other in their respective projects.
Ko, along with his fellow "Jealousy Incarnate" co-stars, recently attended a press conference held for the said SBS drama. During the said event, he revealed his close bond with the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" star. The two actors both starred in the hit tvN drama "Reply 1988" that aired in late 2015 until early 2016.
The "Warm and Cozy" star commented that Park is one of the celebrity friends that he can count on, Korean publication Chosun quoted Ko as saying. The actor also shared how he and Park are supportive of each other's respective acting projects.
Ko even commented that they may soon spend some quality time together to relax and unwind. However, he stated that they may only do so once each of them wraps up their respective dramas.
The actor's SBS drama, also known as "Dare to Dream," aired its first episode on Aug. 24 and is expected to end in November. Meanwhile, Park's hit KBS historical series "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" will close its final chapter in mid-October. Both dramas have posted strong viewership levels and are leading the rating's race in its respective timeslots.
During the SBS series' press conference, Ko indicated how Park and his KBS historical drama won against other series in the Monday-Tuesday drama timeslot. Also, his drama "Jealousy Incarnate" topped the Wednesday-Thursday timeslot.
The said SBS drama's ninth episode that aired on Sept. 21 has posted a nationwide viewership share of 12.3 percent, according to Nielsen Korea. The latest rating marked an increase of 2.2 percentage points from the series' episode 8 that aired on Sept. 15.
The drama's ratings across the Seoul metropolitan area has also increased, as indicated in the same report. Episode 9 posted a viewership share of 13.5 percent as compared to the previous episode's 11.9 percent.
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" airs every Monday and Tuesday on KBS, while "Jealousy Incarnate" airs on Wednesday and Thursday on SBS. Watch some of the highlights from "Jealousy Incarnate" episode 9 that was released on Sept. 21:
