The two major presidential candidates - Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump - will meet at Hofstra University in Long Island, NY, for the first of three presidential election debates. The debate will be divided into six segments of approximately 15 minutes each, on major topics to be selected by the night's moderator, "NBC Nightly News" anchor Lester Holt.
