The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature Lei Wulong added to the roster, a new gameplay demo and cross-platform gameplay not happening in the sequel.

Bandai Namco announced that they will be debuting new gameplay demos for "Tekken 7" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" at the Play Expo Manchester event on Oct. 8-9, iTechPost reported. Gamers from all over will be competing in tournaments inn both "Tekken 7" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" as the organizers of the event will be displaying he schedules on their official website soon.

Aside from Play Expo Manchester event, Bandai Namco teased the arrival of another "Tekken" character in "Tekken 7" in the form of Hong Kong super cop Lei Wulong. Game producer Katsuhiro Harada tweeted an answer to a fan asking if Lei will be added to "Tekken 7's" roster and stated that their is still a chance for him to included, however, he explained the usage for the character was very low and their effort was not enough.

With that in mind, several gamer speculated that Lei Wulong will not likely be added to main roster when "Tekken 7" when it launches next year, or Bandai Namco will still include him in the game as a possible DLC character during the sequel's post-launch plans, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Lei Wulong has been a main stay in the "Tekken" game series ever since his debut in "Tekken 2". The roster of "Tekken 7" will include Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Hwoarang, Steve Fox, Lars Alexanderson, Alisa, Asuka, Lili, King, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Lee, Nina, Bryan Fury, Leo, Feng Wei, Yoshimitsu, Xiaoyu, Dragunov, Bob and Devil Jin. There also new faces inroduced in the sequel such as Katarina Alves, Claudio Serafino, Jose Rizal, Lucky Chloe, Jack-7, Gigas, Shaheen, Master Raven, Akuma and Kazumi Mishima.

Harada stated that Jun Kazama, Kuma and Roger Jr. will not likely added to "Tekken 7" anytime soon.

In other news, Bandai Namco confirmed that their cross-platform gamepla plans will not happen due to the fact the PC version may offer several security risk.

Harada explained that PC users will likely "cheat" in "Tekken 7" when fighting against console users. The risks of being hacked and data mining could jeopardize the game itself and will not hesitate to go through with the plan.

Bandai Namco game designer Michael Murray tease gaming fans of a possible PS4 Pro support for "Tekken 7" soon. Murray stated that he and the Japanese game developers that they are still "undecided" about it being ported to the new console, but assured to the fans that they will give an update about it.

When asked about the PlayStation VR feature, Murray stated that they are still exploring the mechanics of it for "Tekken 7".

"Tekken 7" will launch in early 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
