Previous reports have hinted of the Supreme Sorcerer's potential appearance in Chris Hemsworth's film "Thor: Ragnarok." However, Cumberbatch's latest piece with Interview magazine may have confirmed Doctor Strange's participation in the said movie.

The British actor served as a special correspondent for the said publication to interview Hemsworth's co-star Tom Hiddleston. Taylor Swift's former boyfriend appeared in the two "Thor" movies where he portrayed the villain Loki. Hiddleston also played the same villainous character in the 2012 film "The Avengers."

During the interview, the two celebrities swapped interesting stories about their filming activities and various acting projects. They also talked about the unique characters that they each portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cumberbatch then made an interesting comment where he told Hiddleston, "I'm also a part of your crew."

The "Doctor Strange" actor did not mention his titular role or Hiddleston's upcoming Marvel movie when he made the said comment. However, Cumberbatch's statement may have led some fans to speculate that the actor may potentially reprise his Supreme Sorcerer role in the said movie. At this time, it is still unclear if the British star was referring to the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe in general or Hiddleston's current "Thor: Ragnarok" crew.

Meanwhile, earlier reports hinted of a "Doctor Strange" easter egg in previously released behind-the scenes photos from the "Thor: Ragnarok" filming set. In one of the on-set pictures revealed by Twitter user DaleyPearson, Hemsworth was photographed holding a business card that bore the address 177A Bleecker Street.

The said address is the location of the Sanctum Sanctorum which is Doctor Strange’s New York residence, according to Comic Book Movie. It appears that a scene in Hemsworth’s upcoming movie may feature Thor looking for the Supreme Sorcerer.

“Doctor Strange” will hit movie theaters on Nov. 4, while “Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on Nov. 3, 2017. Watch the latest “Doctor Strange” trailer below:
