Chinese electronics company LeEco is set to make its official debut in the United States this month, potentially bringing its line of phones along with the move.

The company teased its official U.S. launch event, set for Oct. 19, through an invite sent to journalists, Slash Gear reported. The invite hinted at the possibility of LeEco launching all its major products in the American market with pictures of a phone, a TV, a car, a bike, and a VR headset.

Experts speculate that LeEco could possibly bring in its new Le Pro3 smartphone to the American market. The company unveiled the new phone, which features a Snapdragon 821 processor and 4 GB RAM priced at around $269, in September. All of the initial 500.000 units reportedly sold out in just 15 seconds.

LeEco has reportedly made considerable preparations for its entry into the U.S. The company has reportedly already opened an office in San Jose, California.

It has also made several high-profile hires coming from competitors, including several from Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung, such as former chief operating officer Danny Bowman, chief marketing officer Todd Pennington, and former senior vice-president for human resources Shawn Williams.

The company has also announced former Qualcomm executive Rob Chandhok as its new head of research and development.

In July, LeEco also announced that it has acquired American television manufacturer Vizier for $2 billion as part of its efforts to establish a foothold in the market.

However, the company has not yet announced how it plans to market the new acquisition's TV models alongside its own products, Variety reported.

LeEco began in China as an online video service called LeTV. The company eventually expanded into producing electronic goods, including mobile phones.

LeEco also ventured into other businesses like film production, co-financing such movies like the Hollywood blockbuster "Expendables 2" and the upcoming Matt Damon-starrer "The Great Wall" through its subsidiary LeVision Pictures.
