Yoona nabbed the first place on the Korean actress category with a Baidu user search count of 9,454. f(x) group member Victoria landed the second spot, followed by the "Descendants of the Sun" actress Song. The online search count for the two celebrities was posted at 7,863 and 5,145 respectively.

Apart from the Korean actress category, "The K2" star also topped the most popular female Korean idol list. The Girls Generation singer secured the first place, followed by the two f(x) singers Victoria and Krystal.

Meanwhile, YoonA is just one of the Korean celebrities who explored an acting career in China. The Girls Generation group member starred in the hit Chinese series "God of War, Zhao Yun," an acting project that served as her debut drama in the said country.

The singer turned actress recently made her Korean drama comeback in the tvN series "The K2." With only four episodes released, YoonA's performance already impressed many fans and critics.

In an interview with TV Report, the drama's producing director Kwak Jung Hwan praised the Girls Generation group member's acting abilities. YoonA has fully immersed herself in the character Go Anna, a young woman with a social disorder.

Getting bruised or dirty while filming a scene was something that never even bothered the Korean star, according to Kwak. The producing director even commended the singer for her dedication and hard work.

"The K2" airs every Friday and Saturday on tvN. Watch the preview for the drama's upcoming episode 5 below:
