The sequel for "Beyond Good and Evil" is still happening. The original game will be available for free on the PC soon.

Game creator Michel Ancel has teased "Beyond Good and Evil 2" and it has entered pre-production. He also posted on Instagram a concept art, which suggests that he is working on a new project.

Ubisoft told IGN in a statement that they would not confirm specifically what the game creator is working on. They noted that the concept art is for his project with them. The representative said that Ancel is currently sharing his time between them and Wild Sheep studios.

According to Polygon, this is the third "Beyond Good and Evil" themed tease posted by the game creator to his Instagram account recently. There might be more concept arts to be posted in the coming days.

The game creator has always been vocal about his desire to make a sequel of the original video for some time now. In 2008, a pre-rendered CGI trailer was teased to the fans. In 2013, Ancel told Eurogamer in an interview that his plan for the video game sequel was far too big for the tech of 2008.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told IGN in a YouTube live interview at E3 that "Beyond Good and Evil 2" is in development. He said that at some point, fans will be able to see a glimpse of the project soon. He also clarified that it will take a while for Ancel to develop it.

Guillemot said that the game creator is working on it, but he is developing two games at the same time. He said that the creator is also developing "Wild." He confirmed that the sequel is coming along, but he will have to spend more time on it.

For those who want to catch up with this game, they can get the chance soon. The original game will be available for download as Ubisoft's next Ubi30 entrant. Ubisoft Club tweeted that players will be able to get the 2003 action-adventure video game for free, and it will be available in Oct. 12.
