As reported days leading up to WWE No Mercy, Eva Marie was reportedly scheduled to make her comeback at the pay-per-view event as the newest member of the Wyatt Family, assuming the persona of Sister Abigail.

However, there was no sighting of Wyatt's 'still' imaginary sister in his main event match with Randy Orton at No Mercy.

Luke Harper instead made his first TV appearance after suffering injury (dislocated patella and torn medial patellofemoral ligament) last March, allowing Bray to hit his finisher on Orton for the win.

According to Wrestling Insiders, WWE creative is still looking to introduce Sister Abigail at some point before Wrestlemania 33. With Wyatt getting a title shot soon, the presence of Sister Abigail would be needed to further his character development.

As a matter of fact, there were rumors that Eva Marie was planned to intervene in the Wyatt-Orton match as Sister Abigail, but WWE eventually decided to put Harper on her spot.

The former Diva Search winner has hinted recently that her character will be repackaged after ditching away her All-Red persona and dying his hair pitch black.

Other Options for 'Sister Abigail' character

Wrestling pundit Adam Blampied of WhatCulture suggested that Alexa Bliss would be an ideal superstar to become Sister Abigail, because she has the ring and mic skills to back up such strong character.

Blampied thinks Bliss as Sister Abigail would be beneficial for Bray Wyatt, driving his career to greater heights. He's really buying it to the point of saying that a Bliss "Sister Abigail' and Bray partnership has the potential to become a major story in this new era of WWE, reminiscing of the McMahon-Helmsley gothic reign.
