The WWE suspended Saraya Jade-Brevis, more famously known as Paige, for 60 days after violating the company's Wellness Policy for the second time in under three months. The latest update on her suspension revealed that he tested for something illegal and not for a prescription drug.

Paige was suspended for 30 days back on August 17 after violating the WWE's Wellness Policy for the first time in her career. At that time, many thought that she tested positive for a party drug since she was in a relationship with Alberto Del Rio, who was also suspended for 30 days.

However, Paige revealed that she did not test for any illegal substance but it was all a procedural issue. She was eligible to return to television on September 16 but later posted on her Twitter that she will undergo a neck surgery.

But less than a month after her first suspension ended, she was handed a 60-day suspension for violating the WWE Wellness Policy for the second time. Paige took to Twitter to express her frustration saying that she failed it because of another procedural issue.

Paige's father, Ricky Knight, claimed that her daughter tested positive for a painkiller she has been using due to her injury and that she had a prescription for it, per Cageside Seats. Her brothers, Zak Zodiac and Roy Bevis, also thought that the painkillers were the cause of her suspension.

However, the WWE fired back against the two-time Divas champion by releasing a statement saying that Paige tested positive for an illegal substance. The name of the substance was not revealed but it may very well be a painkiller.

"Saraya-Jade Bevis tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug. In addition, WWE is providing world-class medical care for her in-ring injury," a WWE representative told the New York Post exclusively.

Paige and the WWE appear to be heading for a messy divorce but the 24-year-old superstar has insisted that she will not be leaving the company. There were rumors last month that she wants to follow Del Rio out of the company but her contract with the WWE does not expire until 2019.

Nevertheless, Paige is set to undergo neck surgery which could be a career ender. Check out the video below for Paige's last televised match since her first suspension back in August.
