Survivor Series Rumors (Photo : WWE Raw)

Two WWE superstars will likely get their title shot and possibly championship reign soon, according to the latest rumors floating around the past few weeks.

Chris Jericho and the Miz have arguably been the best characters for their respective brand since the WWE Draft.

Jericho, former six-time world champion, might not be the WWE Universal champion, but there's no doubt that he has been WWE RAW's top man on the mic or in the squared circle.

The Miz, on the other hand, is having a revival run as a member of SmackDown Live. The former WWE title-holder has been on a tear over the last few months, especially after his emotional promo with Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack, which many wrestling pundits believe the best of the year so far.

The Y2J Plan:

It has been a while since Jericho holds a world championship belt. However, the wait for another Y2J title reign will likely end soon as the veteran wrestler is rumored to win his WWE Universal title showdown with Kevin Owens at Survivor Series in Toronto, Canada.

Vince McMahon, WWE CEO and the head of the creative team, likes what he sees in Jericho right now. The 45-year old superstar is putting up entertaining promo and three to four stars matches every week.

Moreover, the fans aren't completely buying Kevin Owens' status as the company's top heel, giving WWE top officials the impression that he's still not ready to hug the spotlight as the main event player.

AJ Styles vs. the Miz

The Miz is another superstar that is reportedly ready to be elevated into the main event conversation. Ever since he rejoined with his wife Maryse, the Miz is having career revival. The former WWE Tough Enough winner hasn't been this great since his 2010 title run.

According to wrestlers, if there's one superstar who benefited a lot from the brand split that would be the Miz, who's clearly the top heel in SmackDown Live.

After his feud with Dolph Ziggler, the Miz is expected to contend for the WWE championship against AJ Styles in the later part of 2016 or early part of 2017.

AJ Styles is slated to defend his WWE title against Dean Ambrose one more time at Survivor Series, while the Miz is also set to wrap up his feud with Ziggler at the same PPV.
