Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have yet to made an official announcement about them getting back together and yet news of a possible breakup has been resurfacing again. Apparently, the couple got into a huge fight after Hemsworth, 26, called out Cyrus, 23, for her pot smoking, the infamous Life&Style magazine reported.
"She was screaming at him, telling him he was holding her back and making her hide who she truly is," the alleged source close to Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth said.
It can be recalled that the same publication also made a shocking revelation that the on-again-off-again couple has ended their engagement. Despite rekindling their romance, Miley, reportedly felt that it's not the right time for them to continue with their engagement. Instead, the LGBTQ advocate wanted to just continue with their relationship and take things one step at a time.
"Miley said she didn't feel like their relationship was strong enough to continue with the [wedding] plans," the magazine's insider revealed. "Liam was completely devastated and still is."
However, the "Voice" coach and her beau are not yet ready to call it quits. Fortunately for their fans, the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor "still hopes they can work things out." Despite the nasty rumors, the couple was seen at a public event together for the first time following their reported rekindled romance back in January this year.
Joining Variety's Power of Women luncheon in LA on Friday, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth looked very much in love and signs of any relationship problems were not apparent. Cyrus was one of the honorees for her The Happie Hippie Foundation, a nonprofit group she founded for the homeless LGBTQ youth.
The couple was even seen gamely posing for selfies while enjoying the event. They looked more in love than ever as they goofed around posing for selfies on Miley's phone.
"She [Cyrus] wrapped her arm around him [Hemsworth] and leaned her head against his shoulder," an insider told E! Online.
Alongside Helen Mirren, Ava DuVernay, Scarlett Johansson and Laverne Cox, Miley Cyrus seemed very happy and showed no signs of relationship problems with Liam Hemsworth. The couple enjoyed the event like everyone else.
Following their heartbreaking split in September of 2013, the couple was once again seen together enjoying a holiday vacation in Australia over New Year's Eve. Eventually, people have started seeing Cyrus wearing her engagement ring again. It can be remembered that Hemsworth asked the former Disney princess for marriage in June of 2012.
